The TiVo® service connection failed while expanding, preparing, loading or indexing.

If your TiVo® media device connection fails after it has downloaded data, you will get one of the following messages:

• Failed – Expanding Data (S01)
• Failed – Preparing Data (S02)
• Failed – Loading Series (SO3)
• Failed – Indexing Shows (S04)

If this is the first time you've received this message, it's best to just wait a few days and let your TiVo® media device continue to make automatic connections to the TiVo® service. Sometimes connections fail. This can happen for a range of reasons that may not indicate a problem with your TiVo® media device or TiVo® service.
If you are seeing this failure message during the Guided Setup process, try waiting until off-peak hours (after 11pm or before 3pm local time) to complete the Guided Setup process.
